We provide water and wastewater services to over 12,000 people at both residential and business locations.
We operate and maintain over 100 miles of water and sewer lines throughout the District.

Stage 1 Drought Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What if I am planting new grass seed or sod?A: A 21-day exemption may be granted for new seed or sod in an area of 250 square feet or larger. Please contact the District office to apply for an exemption. If granted an exemption, customers are responsible for increased costs associated with higher water

Stage 1 Drought Declared
On March 25, 2026 the Denver Water Board has adopted a resolution declaring a Stage 1 drought. The drought declaration seeks to reduce water use by 20% to preserve reservoir storage in the case the drought persists into 2027. In light of the restrictions taking immediate effect, we recommend that customers postpone activating automatic systems
