Sewer service charges
2010 Sewer Rates
Bi-Monthly Billings
(Effective with November/December 2009 Billing Period)Sewer Service Charges: Beginning with the date of issuance of the sewer tap permit, the District shall bill bi-monthly sewer service charges.
Residential: Sewer service charges shall be based on the following schedule of equivalent residential units (EQR), at a bi-monthly charge of $52.68 per EQR.
EQR Single Family Units 1.0 Multi-Family Units - per Unit 1.0
Commercial / Industrial (Including Hotels and motels):
Sewer service charges shall be based upon a monthly average, of metered water, used during the winter months. The charge shall be billed bi-monthly at the rate of $3.47 per 1,000 gallons, with $52.68 as a minimum bi-monthly charge.

This schedule of charges may be changed by the District, by appropriate action of the Board of Directors.
RESIDENTIAL:
For the purpose of the following schedules, the words listed below have the meanings set forth opposite each:
A. Single Family Unit -- a free-standing living unit located on a separate and distinct parcel of ground containing only that unit.
B. Multi-Family Unit -- a dwelling unit attached to one or more other dwelling units where each such unit is, or is designed to be separately owned (e.g. condominium units).
A-1. Water Service Rates for Single-Family units shall be in accordance with the following table:
Minimum charge $49.56 (includes 12,000 gallons), next 24,000 gallons @ $4.63 per thousand gallons, next 24,000 gallons @ $5.13 per thousand gallons, next 24,000 gallons @ $5.63 per thousand gallons, all usage over 84,000 gallons @$6.13 per thousand gallons.
B-1. Water Service Rates for Multi-Family units, when located within one building and each unit served by a separate service line and separate meter, shall be in accordance with the following table:
Minimum charge $49.56 (includes 12,000 gallons), next 12,000 gallons @ $4.63 per thousand gallons, all usage over 24,000 gallons @ $5.13 per thousand gallons.
B-2. Water Service Rates and billing procedures for Multi- Family units, when located within one building which is served by one service line and one master meter, shall be determined by either of the following methods:
a. Single-Billing: Master or Homeowners Association responsible for payment of billing for all units, within a particular building served by a master meter.
Minimum charge $49.56 per unit (includes 12,000 gallons), next 12,000 gallons @ $4.63 per thousand gallons, all usage over 24,000 gallons @ $5.13 per thousand gallons.
Example: Four-unit complex. Association billed $188.92 (4 x $49.56, includes 48,000 gallons (4 x 12,000), next 48,000 gallons (4 x 12,000) billed at $4.63 per thousand gallons, usage over 96,000 gallons billed @ $5.13 per thousand gallons.
b. Multi-Billings: Each owner/occupant of each unit billed separately and each responsible for payment of billing for their respective unit. Total billing for a master meter serving a particular building to be calculated on the same basis as B-2a above, and prorated equally among the units within the building.
In order to be eligible for billing under paragraph B-2, the Builder/Developer shall elect, in writing, Multi-Billing and shall provide for notice to all unit owners of the method under which water charges will be calculated and shall install separate shut-off valves for each unit as directed by the Manager of the District.
Commercial, Industrial, Apartments, Hotels and Motels
Rates shall be in accordance with the following table:

Water Tap Fees

Water Tap Fees consist of two separate charges (1) the System Development Charge by Denver Water and paid direct to Denver Water, and (2) the Water Tap Fee charged by the District as outlined below. This schedule of Tap Fees may be changed by the District at any time, without notice.
Residential:
1. The following fee schedule shall apply for all water taps for the classes of Uses listed:

Sewer Tap Fees

Sewer Tap Fees shall be the sum of (1) the Sewer Tap Fee charged by the City of Littleton for taps outside its city limits, plus (2) the Sewer Tap Fee charged by the District. This schedule of Sewer Tap Fees may be changed by the District at any time, without notice.
